Terrace Tastings | Bowers Harbor

Thursday | August 13, 2015 | 6:00pm – Savor summer’s balmy breezes, along with the unmistakable scents and flavors of The Rattlesnake Club, on our lush Garden Terrace! Our popular, season-long wine tasting series celebrates Pure Michigan on Thursday, August 13th with Justin Leshinsky and the wines of Bowers Harbor Vineyards from northern Michigan’s Old Mission Peninsula! Chef de Cuisine Jeff Lanctot will work with Sommelier Maria Papp’s wine selections to create a lavish small plates menu highlighting the wines. Jeff will also be grilling many of the items live on the Terrace, a feature always popular with chefs and guests alike! Justin will be on hand to discuss the wines and all Bowers Harbor has to offer your next trip up north! The wines will be available for retail purchase, too. Garden Terrace Tastings

Our popular, season-long wine tasting series will begin on Thursday, June 11th with a celebration of Sparkling Wines, featuring samples of eight wines paired with our chef’s small plates! Tasting events will continue on most Thursdays through August 20th.

Each of our Garden Terrace Tastings will have a unique theme and our chefs, Executive Chef Chris Franz and Chef de Cuisine Jeff Lanctot, will work with Sommelier Maria Papp’s wine selections to create a lavish small plates menu highlighting the wines. The chefs will also be grilling many of the items live on the Terrace, a feature always popular with chefs and guests alike! The wines will be available for retail purchase, too.

Chene Park’s Jazzy Nights

Wednesdays | June 3rd – August 12th, 2015 | Dinner & Jazz on the River! – Chene Park is celebrating 30 years on the Riverfront and together, we are helping you have the Best-Summer-in-Detroit yet! The Rattlesnake Club and Chene Park have your Wednesday nights CP Jazzy Nights 2015covered all summer long with their “Jazzy Nights” series featuring artists like Boney James and David McMurray, even David Sanborn and Miles Smiles – all paired with dinner before the show at The Rattlesnake! We will present a special three-course menu (see below) for $45 just for our Jazzy Night guests – we’ll even pick up your self-parking in the Stroh surface lot at Atwater and Jos. Campau! (Note that the package price cannot be adjusted if parking services are not used) Plus, Chene Park’s Jazzy Night tickets start at only $13 for lawn seats and $18 for the pavilion! All shows start at 7:30pm, so we would recommend dinner reservations for 6pm or 6:30pm. Chene Park is just one, easily walk-able, block away!

Promotional menu is available until 8:00pm on Wednesdays from June 3rd-August 12th with day-of concert ticket only. Menu price does not include beverages, sales tax or gratuity.

Here’s a little more about our special guest, Josh Gelfand: Josh has nine years of hospitality and spirits experience, ranging from bartending to being a brand ambassador for The Glenlivet, his most recent position. After a brief but exciting career as a professional musician, Josh worked in corporate social responsibility and business management before being beckoned back to the spirits world through his passion for scotch whisky. Josh is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with Journalism degree and has an MBA in Sustainable Management from Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco.
